Chevy’s first ads for the new Impala SS called on Darth Vader, and it fit: for 1994, the car came in any color as long as it was black. A concept car that wowed the crowds was turned into a 260-hp, LT1-powered super sedan, and a shortage of its unique five-spoke wheels held first-year production to just 6,303 cars.
